A Wedding

Payeng is an 18-year-old Hmong girl living in Green Bay who has dreams of becoming a model. She has a loving boyfriend named Kou who doesn't have much to his name, but is committed to their relationship. However, Payeng's parents have a different vision for her future - they have arranged for her to marry Neng, a thirty-year-old from a different clan who has just graduated from medical school. A Wedding was produced by Magic Video Productions, a JTPA-sponsored video company employing Southeast Asian high school students in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
