Hdiyyeh Mnel Samah is a theatrical adaptation inspired by the classic story La Fille aux allumettes (The Little Match Girl), reimagined through a spiritual and religious lens. The play follows a young girl torn between hope and despair, as two symbolic figures, an angel and the devil attempt to guide her toward opposite paths. While the angel encourages faith, goodness, and trust in God, the devil tempts her toward hopelessness and abandoning her beliefs. Through its emotional storytelling and symbolic characters, Hdiyyeh Mnel Samah explores faith, temptation, redemption, and the power of hope in the face of suffering.
