Danzay Yakupaq

Through the experience of violinist Mauro Gamboa (Gringucha de Sucre) and scissor dancer Anthony Aroni (Rupaq Sonqo), we find ourselves at the heart of the Water Festival; an ancestral tradition of the Peruvian Andes, in which the people celebrate for five days the relationship they have with water and the respect for their protective apus.
