The Last Day in Hamilton, Ontario

On the last day of the year in Hamilton, Ontario, a night watchman at a closed prosthetic limb factory is ordered to escort an elderly woman who claims to be his long-dead mother. As the city slowly empties and everyday routines begin to fracture in quiet, grotesque ways, the two of them wander through a landscape of half-working streetlights, silent bus routes, and strangers who measure distances with human ribs.
